 Easy Q
With Flash movies how can you play the .flv file? Will I have to have Flash MX installed?

Yep you'll need to open them with flash. SWF files can be opened with the viewer.

Right, but is the .flv like a flash projeect file. I had Flash MX installed before I had to do my reinstall so I was just looking for a way to view it without having to install MX.

yeah flv's are the project files and I'm pretty sure you'll need to install flash to open them.

Ok, but once I do that I can probably create a standalone exe viewer for it. for example if I wanted to download the Gangsta Hip Hop video it downloads as a flv. Then I should be able to open it in Flash and create the standalone?[/color]

Ok, I'll install Flash MX and try it out. Just hate slowing my system down with another app.
