it's good that they are laughing at me. That means that only I am funny. If they laughed with me it would mean that we are all funny.

Where would you get that much rain in such a cold climate in order to fossilise a VW camper?

Those are called Ice showers or something like that. I saw a documentary on Discovery about it. It is a set of meteorological conditions that causes that effect.

    Re: Snow

Or maybe just one bucket and did many trips to the tap? The optimum number of buckets would be two of course, one for each hand (unless you are an amputee in which case you should not attempt to carry more buckets than you have hands. In the case of those with less than 2 legs, throwing water over campervans in very cold conditions can be hazardous.).

    Re: Snow

You could carry 4. Use those long poles, I think chinese used to do that, and put a bucket on each end, then carry the pole over your shoulder. So that's 2 shoulder times one pole each times two buckets per pole = 8 buckets

    Re: Snow

Maybe if you just hired a load of illegal immigrants to run a bucket chain from the local stream to the vehicle in question. That would be a lot easier and it would lower local unemployment figures and turn you into a hero of the people.

    Re: Snow

great idea, you could do it on an industrial scale.
instead of parking fines all cars found parked ilegaly during winter shall be encased in ice and remain there untill spring
