How to make bold letters and stuff

Hello, today we are going to learn how to make bold letters and stuff. There might be an error here. So we will just walk all the step nessesary to get it working (hopefully). If you are using Fx then you should make a new tab, so and go to VBF (make sure you are still loged on) or if you are in IE then open a new window (make sure you are loged on) so you can still have this window open, so you can read as you walk through these 7 steps for making a text bold.


The first step is to Make sure you are using the standard editor. Press the "User CP" link on the top (picture 1):





Then you have to click the Edit options menu:






Then you have to scrool all the way down and make sure you are using the standard editor. If you don't then choose that one, and then press save.




Then click your way out to the forum again. And find the test section. Click your way in.





Start a new thread by clicking the button I have made a red circle around.

1. Then the tricky part comes. Make a silly thread title.
2. Then write some silly words in the
3. Then you have to drag your mouse or press shift arrow to the side, or shift + ctrl + arrow to the side to mark the words you want to highlight. You can also double click a word to highlight it, or tripple click to highlight a line.
4. Then press the B on the menu. Then [ b] will be added in at the start of the heiglighting and [ /b] at the end of the heiglighting. PS your carret will move to the end of the text. The same will happend if you add a smilie. Then the smilie will end of the text no matter where the carret was when you clicked the smilie. An other thing to note is that the scrool bar for the text your are writing is heading in the exact opposite direction. To the top that is. This is very confusing. but you have to blame vBulletin for that one. The simple work around is to use Canders Fx extension, or just write the smilie or the tags on the keyboard.
5. Then press Submit new thread

Now finaly you can see the the result. "NoteMe" is now heiglighted.
