They need to put a resolved button
I think when you go in to edit your thred there should be a "resolved check box" I thin you would have more people put resolved in their name
what you could also do is make it in their User CP where the post replies are put a check box that sayes "Make this thred resolved"
but those are just thoughts
That is my oppinion,

PS: This is one of the best Forums sites, I wish more forums sites would use the same look and feel thanks again

Thank you for your suggestion. It has however been suggested before and the decision was made not to implement it.

Do a search of this forum for resolved. There are several discussions on the subject. (You can ignore the threads with resolved in their subject lines).

if you were to put up poll asking this question and most people said yes would you change your mind a little?
I did the search and since there are so many people requesting this "try it" see if it works
I know this is just a suggestion, i am just curious
Thanks

It's not about "trying". Since this is a corporation that maintains VBF, and the fact that there is a lot of underlying code in VBF, it's not just a trial-and-error method that can go on for this feature.

Ex-Super Mod'rater
Besides Its not hard to edit the first post to edit the title .
When your thread has been resolved please edit the original post in the thread ( )
and amend "-[RESOLVED]-" to the end of the title and change the icon to , Thank you.
When posting Code use the [VBCode]Code Here[/VBCode] tags to be able to use the code highlighting.

Stuck in the 80s
I don't think it would increase the number of threads with resolved in the subject.
After the user gets the answer they want, they're probably not going to have a need to edit the original post and notice the Resolved button.
So only the users that know it's there would use it. Only users who have edited a post before would notice that the option is there.
